The patented 240 volt Stampinator Air is the upgrade to the Stampinator 480, which has a pneumatic option to better control time release by utilizing the air supply from your automatic press.

With the Classic Stampinator 480, the time release is controlled by adjusting the squeegee dwell time on the control panel of the automatic press. With the Stampinator Air, the dwell time is controlled on the Stampinator itself, witch allows for a faster release than can be capable on the press control panel alone.
